It's that time of year

He had his mind set on this one.
I wish I had some good words for this post, but I really don't.  It's just that time of year.  We're hosting the Halloween party this year, so I'm in planning mode.  I thought I'd share some pictures from last night's pumpkin carving.  I'll whip up a Friday post explaining the party.  Until then, here's how we spent our night.

Dad had to start the pumpkin.

He's not sure about Halloween yet.  This was the "scary" pumpkin.

  2. These are fantastic! I don't think we're going to get to these this year. It came down to this or costumes. We'll have to host the pumpkin carving next year which will force me to get it done.

  3. This is where we differ, sister dear: hate pumpkin guts, hate carving, and kind of hate the holiday. But pumpkin seeds are okay.
